Intercessor, the Story of Rees Howells
A friend sent me this a week ago, and I hesitated watching it, as it looked boring. How wrong I was! It showed me how complacent I had become in the area of intercessory prayer for others and different situations. Granted, the video is a bit slow moving, but by the end of the video, it had made me want to pray more, which is so needed!
Some of the takeaways:
- It brought back such sweet memories of crying out go God on our faces in desperate prayer, and the Peace I always felt in my heart afterwards
- Prayer can change the course of history. If you don't have time to see the whole video, check out the testimonies of Dunkirk at 10:30, of the Battle for Salerno at 23:23 and the incredibel story of the Battle for Britain at 30:00
- Good interview with an Australian missionary to Cambodia at 46:45
It certainly shined a light on my heart and showed me that Intercessory Prayer is really a weak area in my life!
