Act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God (Mic. 6:8).
God has two dwellings; one in heaven, the other in a meek and thankful heart.

Abide in Christ

Devotional

This morning I listened to the first three chapter of Andrew's Murray's book "Abide in Christ. You can find all three chapters at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBKjpUImzAdSxnNiIQbrEEA

It was a bombshell for me, bringing out some weak areas in my walk with the Lord, areas I want to strengthen and areas I feel I need to strengthen if I want to be a positive force in the dark days ahead.

"Abide in Me" (John 15:4) is actually a loving command from Jesus to all of His disciples, and the reward of obeying this loving commandment is the "peace that passeth all understading" and to partake of the "great calmness of the eternal world" as we abide more fully in Him! Listening to this, I see I have a long way to go as all too often the business and cares of this life drown out His voice calling me to "come unto Him."

Embedded is the first chapter, enjoy!
